Peter Pan Awarded The Highest Safety Rating From TSX

It’s the ultimate safety standard for motorcoach operators wishing to transport NCAA teams. Now the Transportation Safety Exchange (TSX) has awarded Peter Pan Bus Lines its highest possible rating for safety.

The Transportation Safety Exchange is an independent rating organization that inspects, monitors, and reports on the safety performance of motor carriers. The NCAA has partnered with TSX to ensure that its teams travel only with the nation’s very safest operators. The TSX approval process is the most comprehensive safety evaluation available in North America. It includes monthly monitoring to ensure that carriers not only achieve, but also maintain, the highest possible safety standards.

TSX rates motorcoach carriers on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being its highest possible rating. That’s exactly the rating that they awarded to Peter Pan Bus Lines after inspecting our coaches and all of our maintenance facilities.

Peter Pan Bus Lines Rated Number One In Safety – Again

Once again this year, Peter Pan Bus Lines has earned the highest possible safety rating from the United States Department of Defense.

Each year, the DOD sends a subcontractor to inspect our operations. On December 7th of 2011, Consolidated Safety Services, Inc. conducted a Facility, Terminal and Equipment Inspection of our operations on behalf of the Defense Travel Management Office. That inspection measures compliance with the strict guidelines of the government’s Military Bus Agreement and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

So how did we do? Facilities are rated on a scale of one to five, with one being the highest possible safety ranking. And again this year, Peter Pan Bus Lines earned that prestigious top rating.

Peter Pan motorcoaches travel more than 25 million miles a year. And no one in the industry puts a higher premium on safety. So we’re proud to receive this important recognition from the Department of Defense once again this year.

Northeastern University extends agreement with Peter Pan

We are proud to announce another extension with one of our long standing clients, Northeastern University.

Peter Pan Bus Lines is the official ground operator for all their athletic trips and school sponsored ground transportation.
Peter Pan performed over 500 scheduled trips for Northeastern University in 2010.

Upon renewing the agreement, a university spokesperson said, “Lets do it, how could we put teams on buses that weren’t green on March 17.”

Harvard University and Peter Pan Bus Lines Sign Transportation Agreement

Harvard University Athletics has entered into a 3 year deal to operate all the ground operations for the school with Peter Pan. With 41 NCAA Division I intercollegiate varsity sports teams for women and men, more than any other Division I college in the country, With club sports, intramurals, and varsity teams are taken into account it is estimated that over 75 percent of the ivy league university’s students participate in some level of athletic activity. There were several critical factors in choosing a transportation partner.

Along with reliability, comfort and efficiency, Harvard takes every measure to ensure the safety of its students. 90 percent of Harvard’s transportation is via motor coach. The Department of Defense sets the highest level of safety and quality standards in the nation. Top ratings don’t come easily. Safety and quality training procedures must be in effect 365 days a year. D.O.D. sets rigorous standards. They have to. Only D.O.D certified companies have the privilege of transporting military personnel.
